Welcome!
NEW STUFF: The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter swooped over the Apollo landing sites
recently and snapped some pictures. Take a close look at The Apollo Landing Sites.
The picture to the right is of the Apollo 12 landing spot. In the lunar vacuum..no wind, no rain..the astronaut's tracks are stil pristine, telling the story of the day when Pete Conrad and Alan Bean "dropped in."
So..the space shuttles are retiring to the quiet life of museums in Washington, New York, LA and Florida. The editor, who broadcast their adventures as well as their misfortunes, wipes a nostalgic tear and digs into the photo files. Click here to
see The Space Shuttles.

And while you're in that frame of mind, check our photo-retrospective on the American space program from Apollo forward. See: Retrospective, Space.
Meanwhile, in other worlds..
..there are some wonderful stories on these pages for those who love Aviation and Space. Try stories like "Forty Minutes to Pearl," the Anzac Clipper's ironic "near miss." Or how about John Taylor's Aces & Eagles: "The Miracle of Y-29." It's the story of a man who flew one of the most famous fighter battles of WW2 Europe. But that's only the beginning. Why not look through our Feature Index to see if there's a story of special interest to you?
As always, I'm very glad you dropped by.
